What do we have to offer?
DCI provides case management, individual, family, and group counseling and education, mentorship, and referral services to youth in our various programs:

The College Preparation Program
A partnership program with Cuyahoga Community College, offers Adult Basic Education, Literacy and G.E.D; assistance with college applications, financial aid and scholarship.

The Leadership Program
A contract with the Cuyahoga County Department of Justice Affairs provides mentors to youth offenders returning to the community from a period of incarceration; professional adults are recruited and trained to be mentors for a minimum of nine (9) months.

The Leaders of Tomorrow Program
Provides life skills, employability skills training and placement; this program is a partnership with the City of Cleveland One Stop Career Center in obtaining employment opportunities, apprenticeship and skills training programs.

The Just for Us Teens Program
Provides awareness and prevention education on HIV/AIDS and Sexually Transmitted Diseases to students in junior and high school, and community based programs.

The Alpha Girls Support Group
Provides individual, group counseling and support to girls ages 9 &ndash 16 who have been sexually abused.

The Young Achievers Program
Provides afterschool supplemental education services, youth development programming, nutritious hot meals, evening snacks, summer lunches, and summer academic enrichment activities to students in grades K &ndash 8th, in the East Cleveland and Cleveland Municipal School Districts.
